Policies, Terms and Conditions


a. Sales Policy

i. Ram Solutions ships primarily to customers in New Zealand and Australia. Customers from these countries are able to purchase via the Ram Solutions online store.

ii. Customers outside of New Zealand and Australia may purchase from Ram Solutions, but will be required to contact Ram Solutions via email or over the phone to place an order, due to shipping and delivery arrangements.


b. Returns Policy

i. Any returns made will require proof of purchase from Ram Solutions Ltd. Please retain your receipt for this purpose.

ii. RAM Mounts have a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, backed by the manufacturer. This warranty will be upheld by Ram Solutions Ltd. If your RAM Mount component is defective, please contact us, and we will forward instructions to return your component to us for replacement or repair (see warranty information below).

iii. Other products supplied by Ram Solutions Ltd have a 30 day warranty against manufacturing
defects from the date of shipping from Ram Solutions Ltd (see warranty information below). Returns will be accepted under this warranty. Please contact us to be forwarded instructions on how to return your product to Ram Solutions.

iv. If a RAM Mount component, or other product is purchased from Ram Solutions whereby the customer has relied on advice provided by Ram Solutions for a specific application; and the product or component does not perform as stated, the product or component may be returned to Ram Solutions Ltd. The paid price of the product or component returned will be refunded to the customer or be credited against another purchase at the customer s discretion. If you would like to have a product or component returned to Ram Solutions, please contact us to be forwarded instructions and return procedures.

v. If for any reason a customer changes their mind about a purchase after their payment has been made, the purchase can be returned to Ram Solutions and a refund of the purchase value (less shipping) will be given provided that:
- The purchase is returned within 10 days from the date of shipping.
- Purchases are returned unopened (in original packaging)
- Purchases are returned undamaged
- Any exceptions will be at the discretion of Ram Solutions Ltd.

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer returning the product.

vi. A returned item that is not covered by ii, iii, or iv, will incur a 20% restocking fee.

vii. Ram Solutions Ltd is not responsible for non-received items shipped by customers. To avoid items that become lost, damaged, misappropriated, or otherwise Ram Solutions recommend that you use a carrier that offers full tracking facilities and to ensure that your shipment is adequately insured against loss or damage during transit.


c. Warranty Information

i. Ram Solutions will uphold the lifetime warranty backed by the manufacturers of RAM Mount components against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product or part. This Lifetime Warranty covers the mount or its components only. The mounted device is not covered under the Lifetime Warranty and will not be replaced if damaged as a result of mount failure. This warranty does not cover any product or part that has been abused, worn out, heated, ground or otherwise altered, used for a purpose other than that for which it was intended, or used in a manner inconsistent with any instructions regarding it s use.

ii. If your RAM Mount component is found to be defective as per the conditions of the manufacturer s warranty, please contact us and we will forward details on how to return the product to us.

iii. Other products sold by Ram Solutions not covered by the RAM Mount lifetime warranty are sold with a 30 day warranty period from the date of shipping; in which a product may be returned to Ram Solutions if it is defective, or not reasonably fit for use. However, this warranty does not cover any product or part that has been abused, worn out, heated, ground or otherwise altered, used for a purpose other than that for which it was intended, or used in a manner inconsistent with any instructions regarding its use.


d. Payment Policy

i. Orders made through Ram Solutions online store can be made by credit card. At present, Ram Solutions accepts Visa and Mastercard. Wire transfers (telephone and internet banking) will also be accepted, but must be made outside of the online store. If you would like to make a purchase via wire transfer, please contact us for instructions.

ii. Ram Solutions payments process is secure. However, if for any reason you would prefer not to disclose your credit card details over the internet, a purchase can be made over the phone. Please find our contact details here, or contact us.

iii. Credit card payments are processed through Paystation, and are secured with 128bit data encryption. Paystation is one of the leading internet payment gateways servicing New Zealand ecommerce sites. For more information, follow the link above to visit their website.

iv. Processing times vary among banks and credit institutions. Please allow five business days for the processing of a wire transfer. Credit card transactions are completed in real time.


e. Pricing Policy

i. Ram Solutions endeavors to provide its customers with competitive prices for stocked products. Ram Solutions reserves the right to change prices at any time, and will not be liable to return any differences between current and past prices that may arise after payment for a purchase has been made.

ii. Prices listed on Ram Solutions online store are inclusive of GST.


f. Shipping Policy

i. Ram Solutions ships orders within New Zealand via New Zealand Courier s non-signature delivery service

ii. Unless otherwise stated, Ram Solutions charges a flat rate of $7.00 per order for shipping within New Zealand. Shipping to Australia will incur a fixed charge of NZ$18.00. Shipping to all other countries will incur different shipping costs. Please contact us for a quote. Shipping costs may change from time to time due to circumstances beyond our control.

iii. Items sent within New Zealand are tracked through New Zealand Courier's Track-It system. If you are waiting for your purchase to arrive, it may be tracked here . You will require the tracking number for your order as provided by Ram Solutions.

iv. Ram Solutions shall not be responsible for any orders once dispatched from our warehouse. If your order does not arrive, however, please contact us, and Ram Solutions will initiate an investigation on your behalf.


g. Privacy Policy

i. Any personal information disclosed to Ram Solutions Ltd will be treated as confidential, and will not be disclosed to other parties without your permission.

ii. Credit card data is not stored by Ram Solutions Ltd.

iii. Unless Ram Solutions has been formally notified, your details may be used by Ram Solutions for promotional purposes
